Faith Feuer

Hello, my name is Faith and I am a certified professional life and career coach! My initial coaching certification was in solutions-focused life coaching and since then I have continued to pursue certifications in transformation coaching, CBT (cognitive behavior techniques) coaching and confidence/happiness coaching. After completing a series of career coaching seminars, I have incorporated this niche of coaching into my areas of specialty as well and have truly enjoyed assisting clients ascertain and pursue their ideal professional path.

As for my own journey, I went to Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges and obtained my B.A and M.A simultaneously. After college, I spent a year in France as a Fulbright Fellow, teaching English to French high school students. As I was placed in a highly economically disadvantaged area of France, it quickly became clear that my role as a teacher would involve a great deal of life coaching and mentoring. My students needed to be shown first, that there was indeed life outside of Saint Nazaire France, and second, that they had a right to put their hard-earned education and skills to use in order to achieve personal goals and dreams. Once back in the U.S, I obtained my graduate degrees from Yale University, where I was not only a graduate student, but also a teacher of my own undergraduate class of freshmen. As a teacher not much older than my students, I again found myself in an advisory role for these undergraduates. Over the next few years, as a professor at a California community college, I found that a significant part of my job was to provide my students with life and career guidance. Given that this was a community college, most of the students were unsure of what steps to take after their two-year programs. Many of them struggled academically and were uncertain as to what career path to follow after community college. Teaching eventually morphed into a human resources-oriented role at my family business. Once the business was sold, I was determined that this next chapter of my life was going to be about what I TRULY wanted to do. But, what was that? Reflecting back on my professional life, I discovered that the most rewarding part of it and the part which had brought me the most joy was the time that I spent guiding students in the process of figuring out what their goals were and helping them to devise strategies to achieve them. So, I made the decision to define and pursue my own goal of becoming a life coach so that I could do just that full time.

I now live in the Boston area with my husband, our two beautiful daughters and of course our two dogs! I get to do what I love every day as I coach clients through my business, “Have Faith Coaching”. So, perhaps you are just looking for some clarity in terms of specifying goals and creating a plan to make them a reality. Maybe or you are seeking career guidance because you feel stagnated or even unsure of what you truly want in a profession. You may want to increase your confidence and/or happiness level and develop strategies to live a more fulfilling, purpose-driven life. Whatever your goals, I can guide you through the process of getting unstuck and discovering your happy! I look forward to our time together.
